Eureka! Upload

Right from your own office your company can scan and upload files to an online e-cabinet created just for you. Documents never leave your office. All you need is the ScanAndHost Eureka! software, a TWAIN compliant scanner and an internet connection. The best part is there is no cost for the Eureka! software. Your company will only be charged a small monthly fee based on the size of your e-cabinet database.

ScanAndHost provides your company with the tools to efficiently and effectively convert your files and upload them to your secure database hosted by ScanAndHost, giving anyone within your office instant online access to your company’s files and giving them much more powerful file search and retrieval capability.

With Eureka! you can create your online filing structure to mirror your physical files, breaking them down by file drawer name, individual file name, all the way down to the name of the contents of the file. Or if your company files differently, you can tailor the filing structure in Eureka! to fully match how your files are currently filed today in their paper form.

Simply scan and upload files to your online e-cabinet right from your office using your current scanner. The scanner must be TWAIN compliant.

If your office doesn’t have a scanner, ScanAndHost can offer some options on some of the better, cost-effective scanners that would work best with our Eureka! product.

Eureka! Scan

We do all the file prep work such as pulling staples and entering file index data. We then process your files using our ultra fast, state of the art scanners featuring Kofax VRS which provides incredible image quality (often better print quality than the original paper document itself). We also inspect each document for image quality. The contents of each document are made searchable thanks to our highly accurate OCR process. Finally we transfer your documents to your secure e-cabinet.

Once your documents are uploaded to your online e-cabinet, anyone in your organization that you wish to provide access will be able to instantly locate your scanned files and documents right from their desktop/laptop via the internet, regardless if they are in the office or not. Document images and OCR text are also provided in a Microsoft Access database on CD as a backup of the documents that have been scanned.

There is no hardware or software to purchase. We have many flexible pricing options available. We also can provide your company with document shredding at your request and can provide you with a certificate of destruction.
